This site is designed as a resource for individuals with speech and language deficits  highlighting children and adult communication challenges due to cognitive and memory issues, Apraxia, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and written expression language learning deficits.

With 30 plus years of clinical experience in the field of Speech/Language Pathology using assistive technology, the strategies presented are ideas for intervention. Online instructional modules are designed to help facilitate both oral and written communication skills.

Speech/Language Therapy and Assistive Technology Training

Assessment and therapy can be provided both at our office, in a client's home, in the community, or in some cases via the web. Contact us for a free consultation and fee schedule.

Apraxia Kids Group Meetings

These meetings are held for parents the first Thursday of every month at 5:30 to 6:30. The cost of the meeting is $10.00 to cover the cost of guest speakers. No meetings in July or August, 2008.

Write Right ™ After School Program

This program is focuses on the writing skills of children grades 3-9 who struggle with writing. All intervention strategies are customized to meet the needs of the individual. Cost is $25.00 per session. Groups are no larger than 5 students.

Grades 2-4 Mondays from 4:00 to 5:00 pm Cost $125 for 8 sessions.

Grades 5-7 Tuesdays from 4:00 to 5:00 pm Cost $125 for 8 sessions.

Grades 8-9 Saturdays from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm Cost $125 for 8 sessions.

Beginning in September, 2008

Read and Be Social Book Club™

This special adult book club meets twice monthly to discuss a current book selection. All participants have experiences memory or speech/language challenges as a result of a stroke, head trauma, or other significant medical condition.

The group meets on the first and third Fridays of the month from 10:00 to 11:30 am. Cost for the program is $30.00 per session which includes the book as well as additional materials.
